Distinctive Botanicals

The flagship creation, The Whitley Neill London Dry Gin, was crafted as an homage to Neill’s long distilling heritage in England, and inspired by his wife’s native homeland of South Africa. To make this perfectly balanced and unparalleled gin, Johnny Neill looked to South African plants, eventually landing on the iconic baobab tree and cape gooseberries. Each of these plants offers a distinct citrus flavour, allowing for a spirit with a taste as unique as its roots. The result is a gin that’s much smoother and softer than other traditional English gins, with notes of juniper, citrus and exotic fruits.
