Three giraffes were earlier on transported to Rimoi national reserve to boost tourism ordeal in the reserve.
In endeavors to protect the Rothschild Giraffe, three giraffes were successfully ferried to Rimoi National Reserve from the Giraffe Centre to heighten tourism ecoerience at the Reserve.
In a statement written by the Kenya wildlife service, the Kenya Wildlife Service and African Fund for Endangered Wildlife -Giraffe Centre are collaborating towards the effective conservation and breeding programme for the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, in order to increase their population and secure spaces for their survival.

Through conservation and translocation efforts, the Rothschild giraffe population in Kenya has been saved from extinction.
