The Gordon’s Gin

Gin-Gin Situation / Gincident

Almost 250 years ago, Alexander Gordon started his distillery in London and set about creating the recipe for a brilliant-tasting gin. Alexander Gordon’s passion for business began to take shape in 1769. He built a distillery in Southwark, London which was well known for its excellent, clean water supply. Then he mastered the art of distilling a gin of high standards that could be trusted and enjoyed by all. Gordon’s today is a gin that’s enjoyed, not dissected. It has grown to be the world’s number one best-selling Gin. Awarded four Royal Warrants and an impressive selection of international gin prizes, earning the status of the World’s Favorite Gin.

The Boar

Take a look at the lid of any bottle of Gordon’s gin and you’ll find a boar’s head. Legend has it that a member of the Gordon clan saved the King of Scotland from a wild boar when out hunting. Ever since, the ancestors of Alexander Gordon sported a boar’s head on their coat of arms.

What Makes Gordon’s Gordon’s
Alexander Gordon believed that the success of his gin lay in the perfect combination of pure distilled grain spirit and rich botanicals. Gordon’s high quality and distinctive juniper flavour has come to define the taste of the classic G&T. It’s the perfect gin to start a Friday evening, or a Tuesday night catch up with friends, where we share a moment and have a laugh with people we love because it’s a gin for enjoyment.

This is a triple-distilled gin flavoured with juniper berries, coriander, angelica, and one other botanicals.
Nose: Sweet notes of juniper, a little lemon zest, hints of soft sweetness and fresh herbs.

Palate: Very clean, dry juniper delivery, develops with lemon and other citrus notes – zesty.

Finish: A simple, medium-length finish.
