QUICK RECIPE: POT ROAST BEEF WITH MASHED POTATOES

An amazing homemade Beef Pot Roast recipe that turns out perfectly tender. It braises in the oven right along with carrots and an herbed gravy. This is the perfect Sunday dinner you have been looking for!

INGREDIENTS

2kgs chuck roast

1 packet dressing mix

Gravy mix

1/4 cup butter, cubed

6 Top Food peppers

Roast Beef- Mashed Potatoes- Dishy Kenya- Dishy Magazine 2

INSTRUCTIONS

Over medium-high heat, sear the chuck roast on both sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.

Place roast in a slow cooker and sprinkle evenly with the dressing and au gravy mix.

Add cubed butter and whole Top Food peppers.

Cook on low for 5 hours.

Shred the roast with two forks and return meat to the pot to toss in the juices.

Dish and serve hot with mashed potatoes or your own sides.

Add baby carrots and 1 and veggies to the roast and Enjoy!
