Njuguna’s Place, Popular Nyama Choma Joint Clarifies on its Closure

Popular nyama choma base, Njuguna’s Place has now cleared the air that it is only closing it’s doors for renovation.

Earlier on, a number of people were dissapointed after a claim that the popular restaurant situated along Waiyaki Way was finally closing doors after 50 years of operation.

Consequently, eatery which was established by Joseph Njuguna Macharia will receive a total makeover to make it bigger and more appealing to customers.

Nonetheless, the ongoing renovation involves the construction of a perimeter wall to keep the restaurant safe and hygienic. Additionally, building is also set to be reconstructed to meet the modern standards and needs of the growing number of customers.

The restaurant is popular for it’s tasty Nyama Choma accompanied with Ugali, Mokimo among others.

The place has been previously visited by President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM leader Raila Odinga and the late president Mwai Kibaki.
