Nairobi revelers will no longer party in the famous Lavington joint after the club was consumed by fire.Â
The report indicates that a section of the club was burnt down on Monday night. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be known. Nothing could be salvaged as a fire engine from a private company took time to put out the fire. Nonetheless, property of unknown value at Numero five club along Muthangari drive in Lavington was burnt.
The fire was contained by a fire brigade from the Nairobi Metropolitan services (NMS), General Service Unit (GSU), and two private fire engines.

However, there was no response from the county officials. Luckily, no casualties were reported from the incident.
Opening it’s doors to the public, 2 years ago, numero5 has quickly found it’s way up the chain as one of the coolest entertainment joints in the city. With a collective touch on its Interior, the club boasted as having the most exotic drinks gracing it’s counter bar. From wild whiskey to the calmer Rum, you name it, Numero 5 was the place to enjoy an evening out especially if you like a mature crowd to go with.
A plethora of Djs have graded the Lavington based club, with Dj Pinye and Dj Nijjo taking the grown folks affair for the Sunday cruise.

To fond memories and nights to cherish, Numero 5 has gone up in blaze but certainly not in out of minds of revellers who frequented the joint.
