LG has teamed up with celebrity chef, Ali Mandhry in creating “The Spot of Delicious” at LG’s “Life’s Good Restaurant” – a dedicated online portal where people can share images of their favorite dishes and what it entails.
The digital platform will enable users to share what they are cooking and add a narration. The campaign dubbed “LG’s the Spot” is meant to demonstrate how life can be improved through technology and social interaction.
Food lovers can showcase their kitchen prowess in the digital campaign that has also been launched in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey boasting top chefs who will judge the entries.
The competition which runs from April 4 to May 7 2021 is about making cooking and creativity more fun. Participants are expected to upload their favorite dishes to a digital feed showcasing all entries submitted. Three best dishes will then be selected by chief Ali who stand a chance to win an LG Side by Side Refrigerator, Neo Chef SolarDOM Microwave or a Neo Chef Convection Mircowave and eventually enjoy a meal by Chef Ali.
You can join the competition through a website link: LifeisGoodRestaurant and click on “Life’s Good Restaurant.” You can also share your posts on Instagram, Tiktok or Facebook and on the caption you must include @igeastafrica and the hashtag #FoodThatSlaps. You then visit the site and simply follow the instructions on the “Life’s Good Restaurant” page to upload their link, essential for qualifying to enter the competition.
According to LG Electronics East Africa Managing Director Sa Nyoung Kim, LG has plans to launch more competitions during the year with interactive social themes like gaming and dancing.
