Weather-related flight cancellations have been reported by Kenya Airways (KQ), which anticipates that normal operations will resume on Thursday, July 6.
The national carrier said in a statement that the turn-backs and diversions in the flight schedule are due to severe weather, and that three of its planes are undergoing technical maintenance. The national carrier also announced that they would give updates directly by message or email to every affected client.
“We are working round the clock to restore normalcy in the flight schedule and apologies for any inconvenience caused. All aircraft have been returned to service by evening of Monday, July 3,” KQ’s statement reads in part. adding, “Guests are encouraged to always provide their complete contact information during booking or via the manage my booking function on the KQ website of the App.”
