Jumia to deliver food as partners with Naivas

Naivas partnership with e-commerce firm Jumia has seen the retailer deliver food products to new areas in Nairobi. Consumers along Ngong Road, Community Area, Hurlingham, Mbagathi, Kileleshwa and Lavington areas, will now be able to order from Naivas Food market (Prestige) on Jumia Food food.

According to a statement released by Naivas, shoppers now want to make fewer trips to the store and their aim is to provide a mobile experience that makes it easy for users to acquire products as quickly as possible.

While releasing the statement, chief commercial officer, Naivas, Willy Kimani,  added that the partnership allows consumers to save time and money while letting them focus on other duties.

“The partnership will enable shoppers a contact-free shopping experience as we ensure that everything the consumer wants is delivered to their doorstep” said Chief Commercial Officer, Jumia Kenya, Kenneth Oyolla while releasing the company statement.

The partnership features Naivas Food Market at Prestige Plaza along Ng’ong road.

Naivas Limited was registered on 24 July 1990. It previously traded as Rongai Self Service Stores Limited, serving mainly in Rongai in Nakuru County. The company name was changed later to Naivasha Self Service Stores Limited, before re-branding to the current Naivas Limited, in 2007.

Naivas enjoys a strong market share in the region, with over 70 branches in Kenya.
