Hussein Mohamed and Yusuf Hassan inaugurate the BBS Mall Construction & Real Estate Expo

On Thursday, Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan inaugurated the largest Construction and Real Estate Expo ever held in East Africa at BBS Mall in Eastleigh. The three-day event, running from Thursday, November 30, to Saturday, December 3, from 10 am to 2 pm, showcased the transformative impact of BBS Mall on Eastleigh’s evolution from a local hub to a global trading center.

Hassan highlighted BBS Mall as a flagship driving Eastleigh’s economy, propelling the neighborhood to a competitive position in property development. Emphasizing the region’s attractiveness in real estate, he commended the cash-driven economy and collaborative community efforts, positioning Eastleigh as a transnational hub.

Applauding the mall for attracting numerous exhibitors and customers, Hassan recognized its pivotal role as a game changer in the real estate sector. He encouraged investors to seize the opportunity presented by BBS Mall’s launch and invest in Eastleigh, emphasizing the resources available for development projects.

Hassan emphasized that property development extends beyond constructing buildings, shaping communities, fostering economic vitality, and creating opportunities for a better living environment. He highlighted integrated community projects in Eastleigh, combining residential and commercial elements to enhance the overall quality of life.

State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed underscored Eastleigh’s status as a business hub, citing its unmatched diversity in retail and real estate development potential within Kenya and East Africa. Mohamed dispelled safety concerns, portraying Eastleigh as a 24/7 hub with well-lit and paved streets, attributing the achievement to the continuous engagement of local leadership with the government.

Mohamed also credited the entrepreneurial spirit of Eastleigh’s historically underserved population for their resilience and determination, contributing to remarkable achievements. He urged developers and investors to explore the untapped potential within the area, inspired by hosting the BBS expo.

Crown Paints COO Ricardo Muturi expressed deep honor in attending the expo as a major sponsor, emphasizing their commitment to innovation, quality, and affordability. Other sponsors included KCB, Gulf Bank, DTB, and Equity. BBS CEO Munir Ahmed, Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan, and Crown Paints COO Ricardo Muturi officially opened the expo.
