The Walker Town Concert took place at the Uhuru Gardens grounds, Nairobi this weekend September 30, 2023. To mark its first anniversary, the organisers brought in big hitters from across Africa.
Kenya’s own Nyashinski was among the headliners and was joined by Congolese superstar Fally Ipupa, Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage and South African female DJ duo TxC.
However, the September edition was seemingly bigger and better with loads of fun. Apart from the music attendees, there were engaging activities such as gaming, fashion showcases, and art exhibitions.

Its close proximity to both the Nairobi Southern Bypass Highway and Lang’ata Road guaranteed effortless access from different corners of the city, effectively averting potential traffic congestion that often arises from relying on a single route.
The artists delivered electrifying performances throughout the concert, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. However, the event’s success was not merely due to the exceptional performances.
