According to Centre for Food Safety, industrial meat refers to meat production that is done by confinement of animals in enclosed spaces such as barns, cages, houses or on feedlots.

Most of these animals are subjected to inhumane treatment. Hence, this makes them unsuitable for consumption.If you consume such meat, you are likely to suffer later from obesity, heart disease, cancers, type-2 diabetes and shorter life span.
On the other hand, industrial meat also increases the risk of exposure to antibiotic.The meat is said to have a lot of cholesterol and saturated fatty acids. Nonetheless, this gets you to a risk of coronary heart disease.

Consequently, some animal factories at most times dispose harmful gases and chemicals into the environment. This may cause the animals to have asthma and asphyxiation. later, it will have food-borne illness.
