Homemade Garlic Sauce to Elevate Your Chicken Dish

Wadau, Today, I’ve got something truly special for you – a recipe that’ll take your chicken dishes to a whole new level. We’re talking about a tantalizing homemade Garlic Sauce that’s bursting with flavor and guaranteed to make your dish slap harder.

Ingredients:

– 8 cloves of garlic, minced

– 4 Tbsp of olive oil

– 2 Tbsp of unsalted butter

– 2 Tbsp of all-purpose flour

– 1 cup of chicken broth

– 1/2 cup of heavy cream

– 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley for garnish

 

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the Garlic: Heat up your saucepan over medium heat and add in the olive oil and minced garlic. Let them mingle and sizzle until the garlic turns a beautiful golden brown and fills your kitchen with its irresistible aroma. This should take about 2 minutes.
  2. Create the Roux: Next up, toss in the unsalted butter and let it melt into the garlic-infused oil. Once it’s all melted and cozy, sprinkle in the all-purpose flour and give it a good stir. This mixture is what we call a roux, and it’s going to help thicken our sauce. Let it cook for another 2 minutes or so.
  3. Infuse with Flavor: Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid any lumps. Allow the mixture to simmer gently, letting all those wonderful flavors come together. This usually takes around 5 minutes.
  4. Add in the heavy cream! Pour it into the saucepan and give everything a good stir. Let the sauce simmer for another 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken up and become wonderfully creamy.
  5. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and watch it melt into the sauce, adding a delightful richness and depth of flavor. Don’t forget to season with salt and black pepper to taste
  6. Once everything is nicely blended and seasoned to perfection, remove the sauce from the heat and let it rest for a minute or two. Then, garnish with some freshly chopped parsley to add a pop of color and freshness.
