Wadau, Today, I’ve got something truly special for you – a recipe that’ll take your chicken dishes to a whole new level. We’re talking about a tantalizing homemade Garlic Sauce that’s bursting with flavor and guaranteed to make your dish slap harder.
Ingredients:
– 8 cloves of garlic, minced
– 4 Tbsp of olive oil
– 2 Tbsp of unsalted butter
– 2 Tbsp of all-purpose flour
– 1 cup of chicken broth
– 1/2 cup of heavy cream
– 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Sauté the Garlic: Heat up your saucepan over medium heat and add in the olive oil and minced garlic. Let them mingle and sizzle until the garlic turns a beautiful golden brown and fills your kitchen with its irresistible aroma. This should take about 2 minutes.
- Create the Roux: Next up, toss in the unsalted butter and let it melt into the garlic-infused oil. Once it’s all melted and cozy, sprinkle in the all-purpose flour and give it a good stir. This mixture is what we call a roux, and it’s going to help thicken our sauce. Let it cook for another 2 minutes or so.
- Infuse with Flavor: Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid any lumps. Allow the mixture to simmer gently, letting all those wonderful flavors come together. This usually takes around 5 minutes.
- Add in the heavy cream! Pour it into the saucepan and give everything a good stir. Let the sauce simmer for another 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken up and become wonderfully creamy.
- Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and watch it melt into the sauce, adding a delightful richness and depth of flavor. Don’t forget to season with salt and black pepper to taste
- Once everything is nicely blended and seasoned to perfection, remove the sauce from the heat and let it rest for a minute or two. Then, garnish with some freshly chopped parsley to add a pop of color and freshness.
