Grilled Peaches with Balsamic Glaze

Grilled fruit is the name of the game! Usually, we’ll go with nectarines but peaches are a nice change of pace.  Made with simple ingredients, this dessert is a spectacular finish to any meal. Throw them in a salad and see the dish transform to de-lish-us!

Grilled Peaches with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients

ripe peaches, halved and pitted (4), 2 Tsp vegetable oil cooking, 120 ml balsamic vinegar, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tbsp lemon juice and mint sprigs (4)

 

Instructions

1.Heat the grill to medium-high heat
2. Wash, halve and remove the pits from peaches
3. Brush each peach half with vegetable oil and grill for about 4 to 5 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and peaches are slightly softened.
4. While peaches are grilling, prepare the glaze. Add vinegar to a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Boil vinegar until it is reduced by half and looks thick then add sugar and lemon juice
5. Remove from the grill and drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with a mint sprig.
