Over the weekend , Gilbeys mixed berry was launched and several artist took part. It was one of the biggest Gilbeys event to be witnessed.
Nevertheless, the Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) had unveiled a new gin brand, Gilbey’s Mixed Berries Flavour, they recently launched it officially in a big ceremony over the weekend.

On the other hand, comedians and influencers also took part in the launch. Comedian Njugush is one of the comedians who was in attendance.
However, the the introduction of Gilbey’s Mixed Berries Flavour follows a successful revamp of the gin category by KBL.
Nonetheless, this is the first time Gilbey’s Trademark has innovated to recruit new gin and non gin consumers in Kenya.
Gilbey’s Mixed Berries Flavor are now packaged in three different sizes, 250ml, 375ml and 750ml bottles, with a recommended retail price of Kshs 460, Kshs and Kshs 1,350 respectively.
Several artists performed during the launch. One of them was Brandy Maina who entertained the audience.

On the other hand, three months ago, Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) also introduced Rockshore Tropical Lager, a new alcoholic beverage with a fruit appeal.
The tropical-flavoured beer innovation, which is scented with natural tropical African fruit flavours like pineapple and passion fruit and has an Alcohol by Volume (ABV) of 4.2%, will be sold in bars and restaurants starting today for Ksh150 for a returnable bottle.
